I Like Big Buns and I Cannot Lie

November 04 2022

Hey all, what’s cookin’?

Welcome to my very first mukbang but instead of filming food ASMR for an hour or so, I’ll just ramble here about the food that I ate in the past, the food I’m eating now, and the food that I will eat in the future.

On today’s menu: Burgers.

Hamburger. Just one word sounds like music to my ears. Juicy grilled meat tenderly pressed between soft, golden buns. Topped with sauteed onions, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese. Flavoured with ketchup, mustard, barbecue sauce, or mayo. Juicy. Appetising. Scrumptious. Mouth-watering. Sooo shiok sia!

I took one bite as a child and reached the point of no return. I simply never looked back and continued consuming this sinfully delicious meal. As I munch on the smokey, tender meat and feel the crunch of the veggies under my bite, I hear angels singing in the background. What a gift to the world. So perfect, so good.

Burgers are so loved by the whole world that they decided to dedicate a day to celebrate it: 28th May.

(I beg to differ though. Burgers should be celebrated everyday for their flavour alone.)

A culinary masterpiece, burgers are easily one of the most versatile foods one can have in their lifetime. Don’t want beef fillings? Here’s pork or chicken burgers. Don’t want that either? We got seafood burgers on the menu! Oh, you’re vegan? Lo and behold, there are vegan burgers for the health conscious! You can choose any meat or non-meat topping, vegetable, and sauce of your choice, stack them in between buns and you, my friend, get yourself a bun-derful burger!

They don’t only come with different toppings, they also exist in different sizes known to man (and otters).

Did you know the largest burger served by Mallie's Sports Grill & Bar in Michigan weighs around 1,774 pounds? Walao eh, I’m going to faint. That would last me a week! I can’t even eat double patties without breaking my jaw. But I’m always up for a challenge. I just need to fish out $9000 first…

“But burgers are unhealthy! They’re junk food!” But have you heard? When food is delicious, they have zero calories.

Treat yourself and grab a burger today! You deserve it!

Already on her 845th burger,

Otty
