Greetings, readers! This was supposed to be the first post but Cheeky sadly beat me to it.

We recently launched I Know Right (IKR) last April and although you have seen us here and there, I believe it’s better if I introduce ourselves in depth so you can get to know us better. 

1. Leony

A serious lion who’s all about rules and discipline. You can see how diligent he is from his silky and well-kept mane alone. He loves staying up to date with current events by watching the news and reading articles. He tends to avoid trouble but somehow keeps attracting troublemakers wherever he goes (Read: Cheeky). Patience is his middle name, just don’t push it. 

2. Catchy

The only thing Catchy can catch are those Zs. An introverted cat, she is a homebody who sleeps or rests most of the time. It’s to conserve energy, she says. It is without saying she dislikes anything that requires putting in effort such as exercise, working, and chores. If holidays were a cat, this would be her.

3. Otty

She protecc, she attacc, but most of all, she loves a tasty snacc. Otty is a garang otter with a nasty temper. Mostly harmless, especially when munching on her favourite snacks, unless provoked. She’s trying her best to minimise her food waste and adopt more sustainable habits with the help of (or scoldings by) Lily.

4. Lily

Lily is a clean-freak frog whose life mission is to get rid of that 0.1% germ that just won’t die no matter how many times you spray that rubbing alcohol. A big fan of Marie Kondo, she finds joy in keeping things clean and neat. She is also an advocate for a greener earth and zero waste, a strong supporter of sustainability. If you cry over sad films, she cries over climate change documentaries. 

5. Pecky

The walls have ears, the doors have eyes… and the birds have beaks. Meet Pecky, a kiasu mynah who stickers her beak in everybody else’s business. She knows the internet inside out, and it’s kind of scary. Sometimes we cannot even understand the slangs that she picks up online. 

6. Debeey

Debeey’s money don’t jiggle jiggle, it folds. He’s a busy bee who makes money moves with his successful business pursuits. Though you could argue he has amazing luck, he is the most hardworking person I know (even more than me!). He rewards his hard work by frequenting atas restaurants and flying first-class when he has wings that could bring him everywhere.

7. Cheeky

Ah, Cheeky. The name speaks for itself. Cheeky is a fun-loving monkey who pulls pranks every chance he gets. He brightens up any situation with his quirks but it is also his double-edged sword, sometimes getting himself into trouble and misunderstandings. I always seem to be his favourite target. I do hope he tones down his antics sometimes and stops switching my toothpaste with mayonnaise.
