Let Our Voice Run 2022: Peacefully Ending Violence with our Collective Voice

November 18 2022

Regardless of age and gender, the impact of sexual harm goes beyond physical hurts and the healing process can be long, difficult, and painful. To navigate their sexual trauma and mend emotional wounds, survivors often need safe spaces where they can voice out their experiences without feeling fear, shame, and guilt.

Alarmed with the recent cases of sexual misconduct in Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) in Singapore, Lutheran Community Care Services (LCCS) launched a campaign that aims to address violence in campuses, with a focus on sexual harm and dating violence, through Let Our Voice Run (LOVR).

Let Our Voice Run (LOVR) aims to peacefully end violence and to promote restorative and survivor-centred approaches to address this issue.

Launched in 2020, this year’s LOVR virtual run will be held on 27 November. It is a meaningful event perfect for family and friends to engage in meaningful discussions about relationships.

Join us this 27 November to peacefully end violence in our campuses! Registration is still ongoing with a registration fee of $35 ($25 for students). Registration ends on 20 November so sign up now! You can also opt to receive a goodie bag with your very own LOVR shirt!

We are so excited to join and participate for a cause! See you all on 27 November!

Sincerely,

Leony
